A Note to Our Patients
Thank you for your patience as we've worked through recent communication issues at North Lake Rheumatology.
We want you to know that we've heard you, and we've taken these concerns seriously. We're glad to share that most of the issues have now been resolved.
Two items remain in progress. One is in the hands of an outside company, and we are dependent on them to complete it. The other, we are actively working with an outside entity to resolve, and we hope to have an update shortly.
We also discovered that the majority of incoming MyChart messages, refill requests, and faxes were being routed to an area that was not being monitored, without our awareness. We are actively working to resolve this and to make sure all requests are processed.
Please know that we've addressed everything within our control and are staying on top of what remains until it's fully resolved.
Reaching Your Care Team Through MyChart
Our North Lake Rheumatology MyChart is active and ready to use. When messaging your care team, please be sure to use the North Lake Rheumatology version of MyChart so your message reaches the right team without delay.
We're grateful for your understanding and your trust. Our team is committed to caring for you, and we appreciate you working alongside us as we finish restoring the seamless experience and quality care you've come to trust.
Before Your Visit
A little preparation helps us stay on schedule and give you our full attention.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This gives you time to check in, complete any paperwork, and get comfortably settled before you're roomed.
- Your insurance card and a photo ID
- A current list of your medications, including doses
- Completed paperwork, if any was sent to you ahead of time
Medication Refills
When you need a refill, please contact your pharmacy first. Your pharmacy will send the request to us on your behalf.
Please allow up to five business days for us to process refill requests. If your medication requires insurance authorization, that step can take up to 30 days, depending on your particular plan.
Planning Ahead
Because processing and any required authorizations take time, we encourage you to request refills well before your current supply runs out. If you have questions about a pending request, you can reach your care team through the North Lake Rheumatology version of MyChart.
Contact & Location
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. If we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail. We are returning calls within 2 business days. We're always here to help.
